UK PM May: Will go to Brussels with the concern from parliament over backstop
What matters is legally-binding change to the Irish backstop, the UK PM Theresa May, speaking in the parliament during PMQs, said this Wednesday.
Have already agreed on a work stream on alternative arrangements to the backstop and will go to Brussels with the concern from parliament over the backstop, May added further.
It is worth reporting that May is scheduled to meet with EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker later on Wednesday, in what could be the final attempt to renegotiate the divorce deal that she had agreed to with the bloc back in November.
