USD/CHF is frozen at 0.8960
FXstreet.com (Moscow) - USD/CHF stuck at 0.8960 interim support level where spend the whole Asian session.
USD/CHF is torn by controversial flows
USD/CHF had hard time with recovering its recent loses, and it looks like investors would prefer CHF, if it were not for the FOMC and aggressive Bernanke. The emerging markets turmoil only supports the flows into safe heavens, and the Swissy is one of the favorites given the strong economic outlook, and the speculations on tighter stance of the central bank in medium-term. Nevertheless, we still think the pair will be able to resume the rally, at least short-term based on the FOMC outcome expectations. Thus, we don’t rule out the pair will reach 0.8992 resistance level in the nearest future.
What are today’s key USD/CHF levels?
Today's central pivot point can be found at 0.8962 with support below at 0.8937 (S1), 0.8907 (S2) and 0.8882 (S3), with resistance above at 0.8992 (R1), 0.9017, and 0.9047 (R3). Hourly Moving Averages are largely bearish, with the 200SMA at 0.9056 and the daily 20EMA bearish at 0.9024. Hourly RSI is neutral at 50.
