Canada: CPI rises 0.9% YoY in November
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Canadian consumer price index climbed 0.9% YoY in November, surpassing the previous month's 0.7% gain but missing market expectations for a 1.0% rise.
The Core CPI, which excludes food and energy, rose 1.1% below market forecast of a 1.2% gain and the slowest YoY gain in five months.
On a monthly basis, CPI stood unchanged in November, while core inflation fell 0.1% versus 0.1% increase expected for both.
