“Today Bank of England (BoE) will present its report on financial stability and Governor Mark Carney will speak at a press conference. The market will scrutinise the report and his words for any clue on BoE's response to the ramifications of the UK vote to leave the EU.

Also today, the UK conservative members of parliament will start voting on a new party leader to succeed David Cameron.

The UK service PMI and composite PMI for June are set to be published today. Although the survey was collected before the UK referendum on EU membership, it may give an indication of the impact of the increased political uncertainty on economic activity.

FOMC member Dudley (dove) is scheduled to speak today and the market will be on the lookout for any hints on the direction of Fed monetary policy following the UK vote to leave the EU.
