EUR/USD fails to hold above 1.0700

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The recovery of the euro versus the dollar was halted once again at the 1.0710 area, putting EUR/USD back under pressure at the beginning of the New York session.

EUR/USD bottomed out at 1.0659 during the European session, pressured by growing concerns about Greece and mixed German ZEW survey. The pair managed to briefly rise back above the 1.07 mark but failed to hold for long.

EUR/USD has come under renewed pressure and fallen to the 1.0685 in recent dealings. At time of writing, the pair was trading at 1.0690, recording a 0.39% loss on the day.

EUR/USD levels to watch

As for technical levels, if EUR/USD manages to regain 1.0710, next resistances are seen at 1.0785 (21-day SMA) and 1.0800 (psychological level). On the flip side, supports could be found at 1.0645 (61.8% Fibo of 1.0520-1.0848), 1.0624 (Apr 16 low) and 1.0570 (Apr 15 low).
