‘Japan won't experience hyper-inflation’ – BOJ’s Kuroda
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Bank of Japan (BOJ) Governor Haruhiko Kuroda told the Upper House Budget Committee today that the ultra massive - and recently even extended - government bond buying program conducted by BOJ won't cause hyperinflation, because monetary-policy management will prevent this.
BOJ Kuroda noted, "The BoJ is currently buying Japanese government bonds as a policy tool to achieve its 2% inflation target,"
"We have no intention of causing hyper-inflation and I'm absolutely sure Japan won't experience hyper-inflation."
